GRP McKinney Baffles

GFP are manufacturers of GRP McKinney Baffles for the Water Industry for use in primary and final settlement tanks with a central pipe feed. The McKinney baffle sits underneath the diffuser drum and is fixed either to this, to the scraper bridge tripod or both of the above. The McKinney baffle plate minimizes the "waterfall" effect as the flow enters the tank in a spiral, as opposed to a radial flow. For additional control of density currents, the McKinney baffle can be incorporated as a baffle in the effluent launder area. In whole units, the baffle can be constructed as part of the launder.
