GRP Defence Industry ProductsGFP Enginnering Ltd. have had an assosiation with the UK Defence industry and Ministry of Defence for over 40 years since the company was formed in 1968. GFP continue to supply our armed forces through Blue Chip customers with GRP moulded and RTM injected products which have been used on various land vehicles and equipment which include tracked and wheeled vehicles and artillery system pieces. The main area of supply today includes providing the British MOD with new prototype, production and spares requirements with products for vehicles which are deployed all over the world. These products include GRP crew compartment air flow ductings, which were developed in fibreglass due metal ducting being awkward to shape and poor for thermal bridging,track guards / shrouds, cable covers and storage boxes which are situated on the inside and outside of the vehicles. GFP are able to undertake 'one off', batch and continuous production for fibre glass mouldings suited to military vehicles adapted for different terrains.
